QQ Kopitiam - FX Sudirman

Been forever since we ate at QQ Kopitiam but finally got a chance last week. Though not our usual spot, the fX branch is jut as good and now with much more variety in the menu. Our party ordered different types of kwetiau: fried with beef, seafood and also horfun with black pepper beef. Everything came out pretty quick and had significant wok hey which we loved. Iced lime juice was refreshing and we also enjoyed the fried cassava as appetiser. Service was attentive, ambience warm but cigarette smell leaked from the outdoor smoking room. Good reliable choice when in fX!

Food is surprisingly great (surprising because it’s in a shopping mall). Love the mushroom chicken noodle and mee kangkong.

Beef Fried Kwetiau / kwetiau goreng sapi QQ Restaurant, FX Sudirman Just near senayan gate, QQ Restaurant delivers a pleasant surprise with their Beef Fried Kwetiau, served sizzling hot on an iron hotplate that elevates both the aroma and the visual experience. The dish arrives steaming, garnished generously with crispy shallots and a glistening mix of beef, vegetables, and flat rice noodles. The beef is notably tender and flavorful, marinated just right without being too salty or overpowering. You can taste the care in its preparation – it doesn’t have that overly processed texture, which is a plus. The kwetiau noodles are perfectly cooked — chewy and elastic, but not sticky or mushy. The texture holds up nicely against the heat of the hotplate and the rest of the ingredients. One of the highlights of this dish is the crunchy, fresh mung bean sprouts (toge/tauge) which add a lively contrast to the softness of the noodles. The choy sum is also fresh and vibrant, slightly wilted but retaining their bite — proper wok timing. The egg is well-cooked — mixed evenly into the dish without any unpleasant smell Flavor-wise, this dish strikes a wonderful balance: 1. Not too sweet (a common mistake with fried kwetiau), 2. Saltiness is just right 3. And there’s a slight smokiness from the wok It served on a hotplate, which keeps the food warm longer and enhances the visual appeal. The portion is decent Recommended

Food absolutely meet expectation, I order : kuetiaw polos (this has a bold taste, Unbelievably delicious) ; tahu isi ( crunchy, tasty ) ; kaya toast ( okay aja ) & teh tarik (nice but a bit too sweet for me) Do will come back again n again bcoz love this kind of comfort food for me. Atmosphere just okay, table by table arrangement too narrow, not that comfortable. Overall recommend this place for you to find a good food

Last visited on Jun 18, written on Jul 23, 2025. Good place to hang out after office hours or after exercising at GBK. They mainly serve beverages in the kopitiam category. Not sure what it is, though, but, it is like coffee or tea with selections of milk, cream, and sugar. They also serve food, mainly from the southeast Asian region. I had the Chicken Katsu Fried Rice with a glass of sweet iced tea. The fried rice was OK, but, the chicken looked unlike a katsu. It was more like regular fried chicken. The iced tea tasted so-so.
